Bridgette Diane Jones, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at the age of 59.
Bridgette was born on January 19, 1967, Carolyn Jones Williams and Charles E. Jones, Sr., in Petersburg, Virginia, and was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where she received her education through Baltimore City Public Schools. She proudly graduated from Lake Clifton Senior High School in the 1980s.
Bridgette was a hardworking woman who dedicated many years of service at Procter & Gamble until the early 2000s. Following that chapter, she devoted her life to caring for others as a caregiver, a role she faithfully served until her final days.
Bridgette was known for her vibrant personality and unforgettable presence. She loved shopping, cooking, singing, and spending time with family. Her voice could light up a room, and Mary J. Blige and Jaheim were among her favorite artists. She was funny, quick-witted, and always the life of the party—truly “Queen B.” Her infectious laugh and kind heart left a lasting mark on everyone she encountered. While loving and generous, Bridgette was also fiercely protective—especially when it came to her boys—and never hesitated to “get anyone together” if they crossed the line.
Most recently, Bridgette made the meaningful decision to return to church and give her life back to Christ, strengthening her faith and walk with God.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two devoted sons, Tremayne Lewis and Travis Johnson; one beloved grandson, Tremayne Lewis, Jr.; sisters, Patrice Winnegan (Nelson), Patricia Jones Coureton (Dannyboy), and Anastania; brothers, Terry Jones and Charles E. Jones, Jr. (Dora), Toshio Takamiro Hideo; aunts, Angela Dance, Nancy Lewis, Mary Lewis, Mable Blackwell, and Joyce Brown; uncles, Adrian Dance and Benjamin Coleman; and a host of loving nieces and nephews including, Symone, Morgan, Tiffany, Capri, April, Asia, Achia, Chandrea, Denver, Danny, Montez, Carter, Boogie, Donell, Michael Jr., and Stevie; devoted loving cousins, Mary Howard, Sandra (Charles) and Lee Jr.; along with many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Bridgette was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Jones Williams (Arthur) and Charles E. Jones, Sr.; brothers, Michael Jerome Jones, Lil Arthur, Khan Williams; cousin, Lakeisha Lewis; aunt, Costella; and her son father, Timothy Johnson.
