Mary Rexrode Obituary

Mary Ellen Rexrode, age 55, departed this life on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident in Huttonsville, WV. She was born on January 27, 1970, in Houston, TX, the daughter of Linda (Sonnier) Whitson and Richard of Brandywine, WV and John Sehn of Ocala, FL. 

Mary was a 1988 graduate of Clear Creek High School in Idaho Springs, Colorado. She had worked as a home health care worker in Pendleton County. Mary's passion was her children and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory: her companion, Charles “Charlie” Lee Kimble of Franklin, WV; 2 daughters, Taylor Leigh Rexrode of Brandywine, WV, Vail Webster of Brandywine, WV; a step daughter, Bridgette Kelly of Denver, CO; a step son, David Webster, Jr. of Denver, CO; a half sister, Heather Lee Whitson of Brandywine, WV; brother, John Adam Sehn, Jr. of Upper Tract, WV; a step brother, William Lee Whitson of St. Louis, MO; and her fur baby (a corgi), “Brandy”

In honoring Mary's wishes, her body has been cremated and her family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, 6-7 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating. Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com.
