ADRIAN KWOCK KEONG WONG In loving memory of Adrian KK Wong, born in Honolulu on October 4, 1938, a graduate of Iolani High School and the University of Hawaii. He was a dedicated high school teacher for over 40 years at Leilehua High School. His passion for his students shone through in his popular criminal justice class, where he inspired them to be their best. A true mentor, he excelled in guiding students through mock court competitions, fostering their skills and confidence. Upon his retirement from Leilehua, he worked for the next 10 years for the United States Department of Agriculture. Beyond the classroom. Adrian Wong was a devoted family man. With pride, he embraced his role as a father to two daughters, Cherie Maier and Sandy Williams. He was also a loving grandfather to six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impact on the community he served. He was a great storyteller, his stories were both captivating and compelling, delighting his grandchildren up until his passing. In addition to his professional achievements. Adrian Wong was a pillar of strength for his family. His enduring love for his late wife (Frances) of 63 years, who preceded him in death, was a testament to the depth of his commitment to those he held dear. Some of Adrian and Frances's happiest memories were of the several trips they took to Japan. In addition to his lifelong dedication to education and family, Adrian Wong had a profound passion for animals, particularly his beloved dog, Akiko. His connection with "Kiko" showcased the tender side to his nature as he found joy and companionship in the company of his three-legged baby. Some of Adrians' closest friends described him as loyal, straightforward, with strong convictions, "a no nonsense kind of guy". In celebrating his life, let us remember the warmth, wisdom, and joy he shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
