I saw Mrs. Fujitani´s obituary in the paper in March. My heart was touched and I surprised myself when I cried. She was my Wilson School librarian and even though I was there for only 1-1/2 years, 4th-half of 5th, with her, she and her portable classroom library made quite the impression on me. I grew to love books and reading more and passed that on to my children and grandchildren. My oldest even became a school librarian, too.
In February 1996 I went to visit her in her large awesome library and that´s when I found out Wilson was her first assignment after graduating! I´m grateful for that short visit and for your beautiful obituary for her. She was loved and appreciated by many, many children!
