My deepest sympathies to the family. I was a student of Mrs. Tanaka in the 5th in 1965. She was an amazing teaching with so much compassion and a heart for teaching. She was so patient as a teacher especially as a student who struggled in math. Everyday at lunch she took time with me helping me learn and understand long division. She has always lived in my heart and I have shared over the many years of what a beautiful teacher she was to me.
