ALICE SECOR Obituary

ALICE E. SECOR October 3, 1930-August 10, 2025 Alice Secor died peacefully on August 10th 2025 at her home in Lanikai on Oahu. She was 94 years old. Alice was born to Manuel Baptiste and Millicent Stroup in Honolulu and graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy in 1949. She briefly attended Armstrong Business College in Berkeley California where she met Donald Secor, her husband. They were married in 1950 and moved to Hawaii in 1951. Aside from raising her 4 children, Alice was very involved in a number of organizations over the years and was always willing to help others. She helped take care of her aging mother and other relatives in need. She particularly enjoyed her work for the Church, serving as a parish and school secretary, participating in the parish choir, and making a number of summer trips in volunteer service to Kalaupapa with the St. John Vianney Choir. She loved to "talk story" about the Islands and family memories. She was a strong woman who was not afraid to let you know how she felt. But, above all, she loved God, her family, her friends, and people in general. Alice's immediate survivors are her four children: Gary Secor, Cheri Nollenberger, Wendy Nava, and Donna Pagaduan. Her funeral Mass with be on September 23, 2025-10am at St. John Vianney Church in Kailua, Oahu. Burial will be at 1pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
