Alice Yee Obituary

ALICE FONG YEE Our beloved Alice Fong Yee, age 88, passed away on July 29, 2023. Alice graduated from Maryknoll High School and Creighton University. She was a pharmacist, retiring after long careers at both Thrifty Drugs and Longs in Kaimuki. Alice balanced her professional life with a more important career as a caring wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 10 and great- grandmother of 1. Alice is survived by Edmund Yee, her husband of 62 years, as well as daughter Annette Yee Steck (husband Loren, grandson Jonathan, grand- daughter-in-law Vickie, and great- grandson Emmett), son Clinton Yee (wife Lori and granddaughters Madison and Allison), daughter- in-law Lydia Yee (wife of son Jonathan and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Jocelyn), and daughter Jennifer Ishikawa (husband KJ, granddaughters Kyren, Kaisa, Kazlee and Kozlyn, and grandson Kyver). She was preceded in death by son Jonathan Yee. Alice loved traveling the world with Edmund and creating photo albums to commemorate their trips. She was also an avid golfer, regularly participating in Waialae Country Club's Women of Waialae. A memorial service will be held at 11 am with visitation at 10 am on Friday, August 25th at Mary, Star of the Sea Church - 4470 Aliikoa Street, Honolulu, HI 96821.
