AMY UYEDA Obituary

AMY T. UYEDA Amy T. Uyeda, aged 71, passed away on December 26, 2025, in Aiea, She resided in Mililani, HI. Born on October 4, 1954, Amy was a cherished figure within her family. Educated locally, Amy attended August Ahrens Elementary and later graduated from Leileihua High School in 1972. Amy dedicated many years to the First Hawaiian Bank, Treasury and Investment Division, where she retired as a Manager of the Wire Transfer Department. Amy was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Dennis K.; sons, Derrel K. Uyeda his wife Jacky Maria, Garret K. Uyeda, and Jeremy K. Uyeda his wife Jennifer Marie; grandson, Tanner K. Uyeda; brothers, Alan T. Oshiro and Gary R. Oshiro; sister Judi S. Walsh and her daughter Stephanie, sister Joyce Y. Oshiro and her daughter Melissa Manandic. She was preceded in death by her father, Kamesuke Oshiro. A woman of many interests, Amy enjoyed traveling, visiting destinations throughout Europe, Canada, Japan, Las Vegas, and various other U.S. cities. A private service will be held to honor Amy's life and legacy.
