ANDREW LEE Andrew Lee, 74, passed away peacefully on March10, 2026, having lived a consequential life of intentional choices, cherished relationships, freedom to experience a wide spectrum of interests, and purposeful pursuits of professional goals that aligned with his personal values. Andrew was affectionately known for being a world traveler, Tibetan orphanage patron, epicurean, dapper dresser, and doting grandfather. Because of his generosity, friendliness, optimism, sincerity, resourcefulness, imagination, and very dry humor, Andrew had a knack for putting people at ease, making immediate connections, and forming lasting friendships. While practicing as an architect, Andrew's entrepreneurial acumen led to the founding of many businesses, including, but not limited to, Loco Moco Drive-Inn and Kapolei Shopping Mall Development, the latter earning him the 1998 Kapolei Outstanding Award for Entrepreneurship. Andrew excelled in soccer and tennis, but it was golf that would become his obsession. On October 9, 2024, he finally achieved his elusive hole-in-one at Oahu Country Club where he was a member. Andrew is survived by his loving wife Wendy, son Thomas (Jess), granddaughters Ember and Aria, sisters Pui Han Lee, Pui Ling Cheong (Raymond), Alice Morikawa (Fred), and Connie Tsui; sister-in-law Teresa Hong, nieces, nephews, and their families. He was predeceased by his father Sing Lee and mother Yuk Lee. A memorial service for Andrew will be held on Thursday, April 16th, at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel.
