Donna, I´m so sorry to hear about Andy. My condolences to the family.

I shared many years with Andy working at the Herald. He was a rock-solid member of the copy desk; smart, easy to work with, level-headed, dealing with the hubbub of a newsroom while staying congenial and keeping his sense of humor.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Norstadt family. Andy was a wonderful friend and will be missed by all of us.

He was a truly special soul. There was a quiet, gentle magic about him that even my cats recognized; they adored him in a way I´ve never seen before. Sending my love to your family.

I have many fond memories but the most important one was that family was first!
He wanted what was best for his family.
I admired him him and was truly blessed to be his friend.

To Andy's loved ones, I am lifting you in care and prayer. I am so sorry to read of his passing. He was at the Herald when I was working in news at KVOS-TV, so our paths crossed regularly. Not only was he an outstanding journalist, he was calm, kind and ethical. I pray the blessings of your time with him will carry you through this season of sorrow.
