ANDREW SATO Obituary

ANDREW MITSUO SATO Andrew Mitsuo Sato was born July 22, 1949 to Takeo and Elsie Sato in Kahuku, Oahu. He is survived by sister Joan Sato, brothers Dan (Caroline Ventura) Sato, and Alvin (Irene Kowalkowski) Sato. After graduating from Kahuku High School in 1967, he joined the Navy and served for 4 years. In 1971 he attended Leeward Community College and received his AS in computer science. Andrew worked at Bank of Hawaii till 2003 and the following year moved to Las Vegas where he lived for 18 years. On January 10, 2023 after a long illness, he moved to Sunnyvale, Ca to be with his family and passed away on Jan. 30th at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29th at Borthwick Mortuary at 1330 Maunakea St. Visitation at 9:30 am, Celebration of Life at 10:30 am, inurnment at Hawaiian Memorial at 1:00 pm.
