ANITA ROSALIA KAMAHELE ROBERTS Anita Rosalia Roberts, aged 97, passed away on September 9, 2025, in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Born on February 12, 1928, Anita spent her life devoted to her family and faith. Anita was a beloved member of several Catholic communities, including Saint James Catholic Church and Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Honolulu, as well as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her active participation in church activities and community service. She leaves behind a loving family, survived by her children, Kuulei D. Pahia Lum, Dennis Pahia, Leolani S.A. Pahia Leao, and Donald Pahia. Anita was a cherished grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great- grandchildren, and fourteen great- great-grandchildren, who will miss her deeply. Anita was preceded in death by her spouse Joe R. Roberts, her daughter Anita Lokalia Pahia Talamoa, and grandsons Travis and Daniel Pahia. A blessing service was held in her honor on October 25, 2025, at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery, followed by a Catholic Mass at the Tripler Army Medical Center Chapel. Anita's life was a testament to her strong will, loving nature, and devout faith. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
