ANN BERMAN Obituary

ANN YAMASAKI BERMAN 88, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024. Ann was cared for in a loving foster care home until her passing. Born in Lihue, Ann graduated from Kauai High School and Michigan State University. She was a longtime employee at Liberty House and retired from Macy's. In her retirement, Ann enjoyed attending all of her grandson's many sporting events, as well as UH athletic events. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Buichi and Mildred Yamasaki, and sister, Lois Kusano (Harold). She is survived by son, Timothy; daughter, LiAnn; grandson, Kyler; brother Calvin Yamasaki (Kay); niece, Kimberly Park (James); nephew Rodney Kusano; grand- nieces and a grandnephew. Private services (scattering of her ashes) were held on August 4 at Waikiki Beach.
