Annette Lam Obituary

ANNETTE NETTIE CHUN LAM Annette Lam, age 96, a long-time resident of Kaneohe, Hawaii, having lived a good and full life abundantly filled with contentment, joy and delicious food, passed away on July 21, 2024. She was a proud graduate of Saint Andrews Priory and the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, and taught a generation of young students as a teacher at Kaneohe and Puohala Elementary Schools. She loved the arts, music and baking throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of more than five decades Eugene Jun You Lam, mother Helen Yuk Moi Young, step-father Reuben Mun Wong, father James Kam Chong Chun, younger sisters Harriet Akuna and Betty Lau, and younger brother Clarence Chun. She is survived by her four children, Charlotte, Allen, Brian and Reuben; four grandchildren, Adam, Zachary, Joshua and Kayllee; and youngest brother Daniel Chun. Honoring her request, there will be no public memorial services. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe.
