Aurelio Javellana Obituary

AURELIO JAVELLANA Aurelio Javellana, 89, of Pearl City, Hawaii, was called to heaven on June 2, 2025. "Al/Uncle Lele/Java" was born on June 3, 1935 to parents Paciano and Juliana Javellana. Al grew up in Kapaa, Kaua'i and was the youngest of 10 children. After graduating from Kapa'a High School in 1954, Aurelio enlisted into the army stationed at Schofield Barracks. Following a brief tour in Korea, Al became a dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Studio. He then found employment at the Libby Pineapple Cannery where he met his wife Gloria (Bermudez) Javellana. Shortly afterwards, Al began his career at Hawaiian Electric Company where he served for 30 years retiring as a Supervisor at the Waiau Power Plant. His passions included Fishing and Diving in Kona, Swimming in Ko Olina, Traveling to Las Vegas, Gardening, Walking at Pearlridge and doing projects around the home. Aurelio is survived by his wife Gloria (Bermudez) Javellana, Sons Nathan and Damien, Grand Children Luke, Noah, Seth and Jael and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A visitation for Aurelio will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Aloha Attire.
