My deepest sympathies to Glenn and family members of Bernice Akamine.
She was such a beautiful and accomplished being. I have known Bernice for
many years as her massage therapist. I have been privileged to know her and watch her evolution as she enrolled in college, decided a major interest was political art, segued into hawaiian art and history and transitioned from her occupation in construction to being a known occupant in constructing memorable art. She was a person of truth, clarity, intelligence and grace. As an avocation, I also am a wedding officiant. I was thrilled and honored to conduct the wedding vow renewals for Bernice and Glenn several years ago. My heart goes out to Glenn for the loss of his greatly beloved wife. May your memories of faith and love sustain you. Kathy Kawana
