Bonnie Okamura Obituary

BONNIE LEE OKAMURA Bonnie Lee Okamura was born Yi Sun Dok on January 26, 1939. She was the baby in the family of two brothers & two sisters. She was born & raised in Republic of Korea. She moved to Honolulu Hawaii in 1971 with her first son James Barry Cash, I was fortunate enough to meet & marry her in 1972. Our son Nelson was born in 1975. We are fortunate enough to have 4 grand children, Janie & Cortney Cash & Mason & Tyler Okamura. She has been the most amazing Mother & Grand Mother. She fought Alzheimer's Disease by herself, trying her best to fight the disease. She succumbed to this terrible disease on the evening of September 7th 2024. We give special thanks to the Korean Care Facility, Kanani Ornellas, & her care givers Yong Hee & Haye Yong who cared for her like family, Thank You. There will be a Celebration of Life at Ballard Mortuary on September 26th with visitation from 8:30am and services at 10:00am. The family requests no koden.
