Bryan Ho'okala Obituary

BRYAN H.K. HO'OKALA Bryan Haili Katsuo Ho'okala, aged 61, passed away on February 24, 2024. Born on May 11, 1962, to Charles and Patsy Ho'okala at Waialua Hospital. Bryan dedicated years of service to the City and County of Honolulu before retiring at age 55. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine; son, Brandon (Marla, Kanani, Brandee, & Janine); daughters: Brianne (Calvin) Kawai & Brittney Ann (Josh); and his 18 grand- children (Kahiau, Haley, Zayne, Mason, Cane, Anuhea, Keola, Haukea, Mailani, Nanea, Kulia, Zoe, Paityn, Dusten, Kaci, Colt, Isaac, & Elliana). Bryan is also survived by his brothers: Bruce (Tracy) & Blake (Mavis); sister Kim (Ken) Kaio; and his nieces & nephews. Bryan found happiness spending time with his beautiful wife and family. Sundays were left open for the love he had in riding his dirt bike with a group of friends, throughout the mountain trails of the North Shore. The love and support he gave everyone was unconditional and selfless. He will be forever missed, as he played such an important part in our daily lives. We wish him farewell and say "We love youHusband, Dad, Papa, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, & a Friend." His Celebration of Life will be held on April 17, 2024, with visitation at 5:30 p.m. and service to follow at 6:30 p.m. located at Mililani Memorial Park-Mauka Chapel. Casual Attire. Flowers welcome.
