Calvin Hiraoka Obituary

CALVIN HIRAOKA On January 10th my best friend, Calvin H. Hiraoka ('Dad') left me, Jack the cat, and the rest of his loving family. Dad, originally from Kaneohe, earned his PhD from the University of North Texas, and retired as a Senior Vice President for First Insurance Company of Hawai'i. He is preceded in death by his fathera WW2 soldier, mother, and many aunties, uncles, and cousins. Dad is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Laura, their heartbroken daughter and son, his sister Karen, Pinky, Snacks, and Rocket. But I was his Best Cat; I will always wait in the hallway for him to come home. In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the Hawaiian Humane Society in his memory.
