Charles Azada Obituary

CHARLES ATMOSPERA AZADA 65, of Mililani, gained his angel wings on February 23, 2025. Charles, also known as "Charlie," was born on December 4, 1959 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 34 years, Cora, and daughter Catherine. Charlie is survived by his siblings, brother Ryan and sister Edna, along with his beloved cousins and many nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Carlos and Eduarda and brother, Erwin. Charlie worked as a Safety/Security officer, where he enjoyed meeting and helping people with his big and bright smile and loud laughter. He loved talking story with all and sharing that "Aloha Spirit" to anyone he met. Charlie spent his final years enjoying retirement. Although it was for a brief period of time, he spent his retirement beautifying his home and garden, trying out new restaurants, cooking new recipes and enjoying a movie, or two. You can also find Charlie swimming at his favorite beach at Ko'olina or going out to "Holo Holo" around the island. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm and the Celebration of Life will commence at 6:30 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at St. John's Apostle & Evangelist Church in Mililani at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Mililani Memorial Park at 1:30 pm. Charlie and I go way back as store detectives at McInerny´s Ala Moana. Shares bunch of laffs. I just around to seeing his obituary and am at a loss for words. My heart felt condolences to Cora and the OHANA.
