Clara Jellings Obituary

CLARA KEIKILANI LEVY JELLINGS Clara Keikilani Jellings (1918-2024) passed peacefully at home on April 24, 2024, at the age of 105. Known affectionately as Grandma or Gram, she kept her 'Ohana on their toes with her wittiness and sweet tooth. Born on November 19, 1918, she spent most of her life in Nanakuli. An avid cook and baker, she honed her kitchen skills working at Nanaikapono Elementary and Nanakuli High School. Many of her dishes are still enjoyed, yet her unique flavors remain impossible to recreate. Grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews all have fond memories of their childhood spent at her home. Her generosity, compassion and unwavering love is a wonderful legacy for her 'Ohana. She is survived by her children Barbara (Charles) Arnold, David III, and Michael (Yae). Siblings Arvel Levy, Evelyn Apicerno and Jerrie Wolfgramm; 9 grand- children, 22 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David Jr, daughter-in-law, Ginger, grand- daughter, Deena and countless family members. At her wish, a private memorial service will be held.
