CLYDE BARR Obituary

CLYDE MARTY MARTIN BARR, JR. 59, passed away on July 3 at Queen's Medical Center West O'ahu. He is reunited with his late wife, Vicki Matlin. Marty was born on September 3, 1964, in Wahiawa to Ellen Leilani Martin and Clyde Martin Barr, Sr. His siblings are Deborah, Jerome, Lenora, Richard, Lisa, and Allen. Marty graduated from Leilehua High School, Class of '82. He lived many years in California before returning home to Hawai'i. Marty retired from warehouse management and volunteered at the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement where he enjoyed much of his time in the community garden, 'Aina Ho'ola. He is survived by his first wife, Paulette Taylor; 7 children, Puninani "Crysolette" (Tommy Jay) Chronister, Mitchell (Amanda) Barr, Malcolm (Bryannah) Barr, Mahealani Almonte (Chris Richardson), Johnathan (Precious) Taylor, James (Jackie) Barr, and Samuel Kamuela Barr; 16 grandchildren, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
