Constance DeSantos Obituary

CONSTANCE THERESA DESANTOS Constance Theresa DeSantos "Connie", 97, passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2023, in her home in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii. Connie was a third generation Portuguese immigrant to the Hawaiian Islands. She graduated from Maryknoll Catholic High School in 1944 then became an LPN nurse for Queens Hospital in 1957. She became a mother in 1979, grandmother in 1997 and fulfilled her role exceptionally until the day Jesus called her home. She was a very active member of Our Lady of the Mount Church and commissioned to serve many callings including its Music and Kokua Ministry, Renew International, FACE, and the baking of her delicious homemade Portuguese bread to raise funds for the church's Youth Outreach. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert, youngest daughter Regina and 14 siblings. Survived by oldest daughter Victoria and four grandchildren; Andrew, Maylene, Nicholas and Carly. There will be a Celebration of Life Mass for Connie at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church on Monday April 10th, 9:30am with burial to follow at The Valley of the Temples Cemetery.
