So very sad to read at same time, sweet Connie gone so soon after Charlie, but a blessing they are together now in our Lords home. Sending my prayers for their beloved children and grand children.

Extremely sad at losing both Charlie and Connie. I was in Germany when Charlie went home on leave and Connie back with him to Stuttgart. Our husbands were both officers at the same base and Connie and I enjoyed shopping together. Charlie called me when John died a few years ago and hearing his voice meant a lot to me.

Candis here. My apologies for my delayed comment. Her obituary said it all. She was a wonderful and pretty woman. May her family find happy memories to help them through their time of loss. It was my privilege to have been her caregiver.

Connie was the wife of my late husband's first cousin. She was beautiful inside and out. I will never forget visiting them in Virginia Beach and remembering what a gracious welcoming we got from Connie and Charles. Prayers for her sweet family.

Connie was a classmate of mine at E.C.G. High School (1963). As her obit says, she was a beautiful girl with a great personality!
I knew she married Charles Reid, whose recent obit I saw in the N&A.
I knew very little about her later life as a successful businesswoman and a loving mother and grandmother.
I send my condolences to her family, including her brother-in law Boyce Reid, with whom I became "phone" friends after the death of his close friend and my childhood friend Martin Morris.
RIP Connie
