Daniel O'Doherty Obituary

To Danny's Sons, Anne, Noreen & Edward & extended family & friends, we were so sorry to hear of his recent passing RIP Danny. We were delighted to hear that he was interned in Goath Dobhair, Donegal, with his Uncle Con & Aunt Mary. Danny was my Godfather, he happened to be in Goath Dobhair, just after he came out of the army when I was born. Mary & Con, were great neighbours of my family & were more like family to us than neighbours - we lived across the road from them. None of our family live there anymore in Goath Dobhair that is why we were not aware of his interment. Another neighbour rang me in Dublin to tell me that his family were in Donegal last week. It has been many years since I last saw Danny in Goath Dobhair, but we had been in contact with his sister Anne up to about 4/5 years ago & then lost touch with her.
I will get to his grave next month when I am in Gweedore.
