David Crites Obituary

DAVID CRITES David Crites, 68, of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away peacefully in the early morning of June 20, 2025. David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and dog whisperer. He worked as a foreman for Suncrete Hawaii for over 40 years and was known for his ability to fix anything that came his way. He is survived by his wife, Tina, their children, Kawika, Kanoi, and Kayla, his sister Beth, his brothers Johnny and Brian, and his two fur babies Skippy and Kuhio. Known to many as the "Mango Salsa Man" David spent over 15 years making and selling his salsa to his community out of his own backyard. David spent as many hours in the kitchen as he did watching his favorite sport, Nascar. While he never raced cars himself, David and Tina, attended many Toys for Tots motorcycle runs on his Harley Davidson. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is resting peacefully with his son, Keoni. His kindness, laughter, and generous spirit will live on in all who knew him. And for all that knew him, you know he'd want to say, let's Make America Great Again. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
