We met David at Big City Diner where he walked to from his home in the valley to enjoy his midday meal. His ability to walk those miles daily kept him in good shape, happy, and positive. My husband and I both enjoyed chatting with him whenever we went on Wednesdays, our once a week dining experience. We shall miss his cheerful smile and listening to him talk about the plants and proteas that he enjoyed cultivating on the windward side. David is now helping the angels to tend their eternal garden.
Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Oman and her daughter who bought him all those beautiful tee-shirts from local restaurants around town.
Aloha,
