Born on May 22, 1967, he was the son of Betty Maikui and the late David D. Souza Sr., and was welcomed into the world alongside his twin brother, Donald. Da-v was the second of six children and shared his life with his siblings Denton, Sweetheart, Squeaky and Munsta. While attending Castle High School, he met the love of his life, Sitka Tsuhako. The two shared a beautiful marriage of 40 years and built a loving family together. He was a loving husband and devoted father to his four children: Kawika (Kawai), Danae (Larry), Steffany (Tony), and Synthia (TJ) and his Dahling Hali'a. One of his greatest joys in life was being a proud papa to his 22 grandchildren and he supported them in everything they did. Also, survived by sister in law Risa and brother in laws Shige, Chev and Eric and many uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews. To those closest to him, he had the remarkable ability to be whatever was needed in the momenta bro, doctor, veterinarian, judge, comedian, coach, chef, hero, and always a best friend. Da-v also had a beautiful green thumb and found great joy in growing and nurturing plants, vegetables, and fruitssomething he and Sitka loved doing together. Da-v loved music and you'd often find him strumming his ukulele to his favorite jams. He also enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and was a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys! Da-v was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Family and friends are welcomed to join the 'ohana of Da-v Souza on March 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at KEY Project, 47-200 Waihe'e Rd., Kane'ohe, Hawai'i 96744 as they celebrate his life.
