I knew Uncle Dean as a jovial friend to my cousins Lyn and Lori Kashiwabara before I know he was my cousin. Years later when I realized I actually was related to him, I was thrilled to have such a positive and fun person to call my family. His jokes, his laughter, his earnest interest in the lives of others will be missed!
