DEANNA SPAIN Obituary

DEANNA KELEKA (FONTANILLA) SPAIN Deanna K. (Fontanilla) Spain, 50, of Keaau, Hawai'i, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Born on September 12, 1974, she was the daughter of Peter and Adeline Fontanilla. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved husband, Mark, son Brayden, and daughter Breeann. Deanna graduated from St. Andrew's Priory in 1992 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Hawai'i in 1996. She worked in the DOE for over 25 years and taught at Kamaile Elementary School in Waianae and Waiakea Elementary School on the Big Island. Her loving smile, generous heart, creative spirit, and devotion will continue to inspire and impact the lives of those she touched. She will always be remembered as an amazing daughter, mother, wife, aunty, and friend to many. Private services were held. Visitation and services will be held at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Visitation will be at 5:30 pm, with services to follow at 6:30 pm. Arrangements provided by Mililani Mortuary.
