Deborah Alayon Obituary

DEBORAH ANN KEHAULANI ALAYON Welcomed to her heavenly home on April 7th, 2025 by her husband Nathan Alayon, brother Michael Enos, and beloved family members, Deb now sits on her private beach in Heaven where the weather is always perfect and the water crystal clear. Debbie is survived by her loving parents Walter Enos Jr. and Lorraine Enos, her siblings Walter Joseph (Diane) Enos III and Sherrie (Danny) Enos, her Children Lexy (Shaun) Gorgonio, Levi Lontayao, Nasera (Sofia) Alayon Mendez, Jonathan Zachman, and Nathan Alayon Jr., her adoring grand- children Lia, Elijah, and Tehani, and many nieces and nephews. Deb put family above all else, but she was proud of her time teaching; she particularly loved her ALC kids at Pearl City High School where she doled out her special brand of tough love. She made lifelong friends while working on the cabin crew for United Airlines, the life of every party, and the woman you wanted in your corner. Deb will be forever remembered and cherished by those she leaves behind. Her life will be celebrated at Hawaiian Memorial on September 12th, 2025.

Aue ke aloha nui! I remember Kehau from our days dancing as Keiki for Alicia Smith and my grandmother, Mae Loebenstein. I was looking up information on my old hula sisters as someone shared a video of us dancing in Mele Hawai`i 1974 on PBS. I am not sure if you have access to this video, but it's Google it Mele Hawaii 1974 Hapa Haole, and the video starts at about 6:15. I remember Kehau as being feisty and independent and our time dancing at Hawaiiana Hotel. I pray that you all find comfort and peace in knowing she is home resting in the arms of our Lord and her kupuna. Much aloha to you all, Maelia Loebenstein Carter
