DONNA DEBIASI Obituary

DONNA LEE MIYASHIRO DEBIASI Donna Lee Miyashiro DeBiasi died June 26, 2024, in Honolulu, HI from complications with auto-immune disease. Her family was by her side. She was 64 years old. Donna had extensive love for her family and friends. She always opened the family home to nieces, nephews and friends and never turned down the opportunity to host a family party. She loved to entertain, cooking Italian and Japanese and providing an atmosphere of love and joy. Her smile and laugh were energizing. Donna grew up in Kane'ohe and while she lived in many places, her roots were never fully pulled from the base of the Ko'olau. Attending Castle HS she developed a passion for hospitality while working at the Outrigger Reef Hotel. She was a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant before taking time to raise her family. Later she worked as a concierge for a private airline group and an islands wide tour company. She loved Hula and making crafts and was an accomplished seamstress. If you didn't receive a handmade baby futon from Donna, you probably didn't have a baby! She is survived by her three children, Natalie (Kyle) of Honolulu, Stefanie (Wesley) of Kane'ohe, and Doug of Honolulu, grandchild Umi of Kane'ohe (ex) husband Steve of Honolulu; her mother Jaqueline Lau Miyashiro of Kane'ohe; sisters Joanne Burgo and Susan Miyashiro both of Kane'ohe; her seven nieces and nephews and her many cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father Douglas Miyashiro. A service to memorialize and celebrate Donna's life will be held on Friday, August 16 at Hawaiian Memorial Park, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy., Kaneohe. Visitation at 10:00, Service at 11:00.
