Mrs Shigetomi was my 4th grade teacher at Helen C. Peirce school in Chicago, Illinois. As I recall, she was an exchange teacher in a class that I was extremely fortunate to be in.
In 2019 my wife and I made a trip to Honolulu and were blessed to meet Doris and Sam for dinner. The highlight of our trip!
