We lived down the street from the Setoes for at least 50 years. Dr. Seto helped my Dad get established as a physician in Honolulu. He took my brother, and other kids, out fishing at night on the reef at Wailupe. He was a warm, generous man and I will always remember him. My love to all his family.

How very sad I am to have learned that the world has recently lost one of its finest human beings and nephrologists. As a kidney transplant surgeon who was fortunate to be able to count Dudley Seto among his geographically distant colleagues, I can fully attest to the validity of that statement. His professionalism and commitment to his patients, indeed to all human beings, is and will always be legendary. He was a friend to many, and it was my good fortune to be among them. God Bless You, Dudley, May You Rest In Peace throughout eternity.
