Edmund and I lived relatively close to each other. During high school, we would catch the same bus home after school. I would walk up to his house and we´d listen to music, talk and generally had a good time. He introduced me to Crosby, Stills & Nash with the song Marrakesh. Edmund had the kindest soul of anyone I have ever met. After high school, I want off to college and we lost touch. At our 45th class reunion, we reconnected. His kind heart and demeanor had not changed a bit. Saw him again at our 52nd class reunion. Sadly, he was fighting hard, but was succumbing to his illnesses. My heart sank when Barbara notified my wife and me of his passing. He is missed.

Sending my condolences to Barbara, Jessica, Juliana and the rest of Edmund's family. I became friends with Barbara back in 2004 at Hawaiian Airlines and through the years had the pleasure of spending time with Edmund. My memories of him are as a kind and gentle man who openly accepted me into their lives. I had just moved back to Hawaii after many years away and Barbara and Edmund's friendship meant a lot to me as I transitioned back into life here. I know his loss leaves a deep hole in the lives of his wife, children, and grandchildren, but that his memory will live on. With sympathy, Kaela
