Eiichi Kanda Obituary

EIICHI EK KANDA September 22, 1929 September 25, 2023 Eiichi graduated to heaven surrounded by his family on September 25th after a recent diagnosis of Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease. He was born in Hilo, raised in the small subdivision called Waiakea town pre 1960 tsunami. He is the youngest son and third youngest of nine children. Eiichi is survived by his loving wife Sue of 65 years, son Kevin, and daughter Kara Nomura, son in-law Tommy, and the light of Eiichi's life, grandsons William and Christopher. He is also survived by his brothers Tokuo Kanda, Takayoshi Kanda, sisters Yachio Kaulia, Miriam Buck, and numerous nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers and donations, please extend an act of kindness to someone, as this would have been Eiichi's wish of sharing his Aloha. Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
