ELLEN T. AND WALTER T. INOUYE Obituary

ELLEN AND WALTER INOUYE ELLEN T. INOUYE, 89, of Honolulu, was born on April 4, 1934 in Amau'ulu Camp, and passed away on February 18, 2024. She was married to Walter for 69 years. After moving to Honolulu, she worked as a bookkeeper for a variety of construction and restaurant businesses, such as E.E. Black and The Willows Restaurant. She is survived by son: Russell (Cindy) Inouye, daughter: Cheryl Orneallas, daughter: Candace Kurisu, 6 grandchildren: Marcus (Krystal) Arakawa, Carly Arakawa, Ryan Inouye, Rachel Inouye, Hayley Kurisu, Kellen Kurisu and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mary Aoki, brother Toshiharu (Judy) Hamane, and numerous nieces and nephews. WALTER T. INOUYE, 93, of Honolulu, was born in Pepeekeo, and passed away on March 3, 2024. He served in the Army before working with the Hilo Post Office upon his return from duty. He relocated to Honolulu and worked for Carnation Company as a sales manager for 30 years. He then worked as a wedding coordinator at Kawaiahao Church for 18 years. He is survived by son: Russell (Cindy) Inouye, daughter: Cheryl Orneallas, daughter: Candace Kurisu, 6 grandchildren: Marcus (Krystal) Arakawa, Carly Arakawa, Ryan Inouye, Rachel Inouye, Hayley Kurisu, Kellen Kurisu and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Patsy Adachi from Hilo and numerous nieces and nephews.
