Ellice Elento Obituary

ELLICE SETSUKO ELENTO, SETCHAN 87, was born on October 19, 1937 in Honolulu, peacefully passed in her home with her family on July 9, 2025. She is a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1955. She is survived by her sons Wendell (Linda), Wayne (Stephanie) and daughter Wendy "Tonky" Elento, brothers Edgar Mito (Sugako) and Edwin Mito (Ellen), three grandchildren Penny, Kendell (Miwa) and Matthew (Adriana) and four great-grandchildren Kahana, Keiichi, Kosuke and Amelia. She retired after 36 outstanding years of federal service lastly being employed with SPAWAR as an Administrative Officer. She loved the great outdoors consisting of camping, fishing and surfing while raising her children, loved the game of golf including a hole in one at her favorite golf course and frequent trips to the ninth island of Vegas. To Our Dearest Mom aka Grama, Great Grama and Sister, "May your gentle soul and kind heart fly with the angels forever". By her request there will be no service however her ashes will be scattered at her childhood playground of Kailua Beach close to Flat Island on Wednesday 13 August 2025 at 0930.
