Mr Burrus was a very good baseball player in the CYC major league, as i played with him and against him , in addition, his lovely daughter Coleen went to lunch with me at the jack in the box and schooled me at basketball.afterwords. My Sincere condolences to the entire family. Don Fitzgerald

I was always impressed by his humor and sincerity. I trusted his judgement in social and political matters and enjoyed working with him at the credit union and with the 8th ward.
