ESTHER LANI BEE NAKOA With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Esther Lani Bee Nakoa, 92, of Kaneohe. Esther peacfully passed on April 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Esther was a talented musician, loved music and followed her true passion as a Hawaiian Musician alongside her sister, Carol Momi Bee Kahawaiolaa, and her brother Anthony Bee. The trio graced numerous stages, including Duke's in Waikiki and the Tavana show at the Moana Hotel, to name a few. Esther was preceded in death by her son Francis Piiohia (Leslie). She is survived by her children, Esther Lee (Patrick), Guy Nakoa, Randall Nakoa (Joan), Emery Nakoa (Darlene), Melody Colburn (John), 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation at 9am, services at 10am on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Private burial to follow.
