EUGENE ORNELLAS Obituary

EUGENE PETER ORNELLAS 87, of Mililani, HI was called to the Lord on May 26, 2025. Born in Waipahu HI, he is a graduate of St. Louis (Class of 1956). Earning his PhD from Stanford University, he conducted cancer research at Duke, Harvard, and Chicago Medical Schools. He is survived by his wife, Linda, son, Kevin B. Ornellas and brother, Donald C. Ornellas (Patricia), 12 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers: David N. (Emmaline) and Leonard H. (Gladys) Ornellas. A Funeral Mass will be held on June 10, 2025 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Honolulu at 9:30AM, Visitation 8:45AM. Burial 1:00PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Services, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744. Gene was a consistent positive influence.
