Naomi, Tony & Family,
So very sorry to lose Aloha. I only got to see Aloha at funerals, but it was always good to be able to see our cousins.
Aloha was such a character at Kaimuki High School. I thought her friends were from Farmington High School; mean looking girls!!!
One day, your sister almost got me beaten up by her friends when she told them she was hapa. I had no early warning, so I had to think FAST!!! I just said YEAH, Aloha part Japanese. Her dad and my dad are brothers, that´s why we both are HIGAs.
I got the stink eye from Aloha´s friends but eventually they decided not to beat me up!!!
We´re all going to miss Aloha.
But we have our memories of her to keep her close to us.
I´m glad Aloha got to travel while her health was good.
I know it´s hurting, but stay strong. Aloha was loved by us and we´ll all miss her.

Sorry to hear about cousin Aloha's passing. I hope that she had a good life and that you have lots of memories to remember her by. Our ohana is diminished by losing her. We don't have too many cousins so her loss really sucks.
