FLORENCE ANNA PU'U Our beloved mother, Florence Anna Sobczuk Pu'u, passed away peacefully the morning of September 3, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1934, in Ontario, Canada. Honolulu was her home for over 60 years. A devoted RN at St. Francis Hospital for 40 years, Mom lived life to the fullest & enjoyed taking cruises, traveling, golfing, & ballroom & line dancing. Her greatest joy was her family. She was the embodiment of grace, kindness, & love. Florence is survived by sisters, Helen Cipp & Peggy Morrow; children: Renee Tanner (Jason), Joe Pu'u (Crystal) & Leslie Pu'u-Robinson; grandchildren: Mazy Iwaki (Peter), Jordan Pu'u-Robinson (Brittany), Phoenix Pu'u, Madison Jordan (Jared), Pono Pu'u-Robinson (Himawari), Kainalu Pu'u-Robinson & many nieces & nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her daughter, Andree Pu'u Rice. Memorial services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary on Monday, September 18th, 2023.
