Dear Chans, We send our condolences and our prayers are with you. Uncle Foo and Aunt Alice were so kind and generous. My mom and Aunt Alice were country cousins/sisters from Toisan. When we "kids" went to Hawaii, we were always spoiled by them. I was there with friends when Hurricane Iniki was coming to shore. Uncle said, "Don't worry, it's just windy here. You can stay here till it's over." My mom, brother, and I enjoyed visiting and having lunch with uncle in Honolulu Chinatown about 7 years ago. May he rest in heaven with your mom and Manley. - Annie Chan, SF
