Dear Kenneth, I am saddened to read Frances' obituary. Please accept Hiroshi's and my condolences. The last time we met was the occasion of my mother's funeral in 2007. I regret not maintaining contact with her and other members of my father's family over the past 52 years living away from Hawaii. I have fond memories of playing with "Kyoko-chan" as a young child.
We pray that Frances is resting in peace and that you and your family will find consolation in all of your good memories of wife, mother and grandmother, Frances Kyoko. Sincerely, Hiroshi and Ellen Mashiko (Kawasaki, Japan)
