FRANCES CHIYOKO MORIGUCHI February 16, 2023 Frances Chiyoko Moriguchi (nee Hokama), 92, a retired U.S. History and American Studies teacher at Waimea High School, passed away peacefully at Hi'olani Care Center at Kahala Nui. Born in Honolulu, she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Raymond Jitsumi Moriguchi, parents Fukusei (Haruko) Hokama, siblings Bernice (Kazuma) Furukawa, and George (Etsuko) Hokama. She is survived by her sister Dorothy (Yasuhiko) Nishi, son Dr. Jaime (Julie) Moriguchi, daughters Sheryl (Russell) Grady, Jill (Russ) Hiroto and Dr. Donna Moriguchi (Dr. John) Schneider; eight grandchildren Kelli (Freddy) Hernandez, Dr. Kristin Moriguchi, Janessa Grady, Jennifer Grady, Sydney Hiroto, Wesley Hiroto, Lia Schneider and Peter Schneider; and two great-grandchildren Troy and Cruz Hernandez.
