FRANCES YUEN Obituary

FRANCES SHARON YUEN Sharon Yuen died at home October 17th, 2023 in Kailua, HI at the age of 70. "Share" is survived by her husband Arnold Yuen, children Kelly and Marcus Souza, stepchildren Tani Trapani an Michael Yuen and grandchildren Leila and Jacob Trapani. She is preceded in death by her siblings Michael, Nancy, Sue, and her beloved brother Paul followed her a few weeks later. Sharon was born on February 15, 1953, in West Covina, CA to Norman and Frances Wroblos. Sharon graduated from Edgewood High School in 1971. She had many accomplishments: she studied as a Lamaze instructor, was a Nutra-System manager, sold cars at Windward Dodge, was a caregiver for seniors, and attended nursing assistant school at Windward Community College. She played League Tennis and was great at all these things. Sharon was the life of the party. She loved music and was quite the dancer. At every opportunity she would dance right in front of the band. Her mantra was "party on." She was witty and made us laugh. On Sunday, Nov. 19th her ashes will be scattered with her close friend, Karen Knapp, who passed away a year ago, and Sharon's fury best friend, Mana. The scattering will be at the Lanikai Community Park shoreline from 7am-8am. At 3pm is the celebration of life ceremony at the park pavilion. All are welcome.
