Dr. Ma did my back surgery in 1982/1983, at Queens Medical Center. He was consummate physician and surgeon. He went to China to get the size of bone he needed to my surgery. We still laugh about that.
I will never forget his expertise and compassion for me. RIP Dr. Ma

Dr. Ma operated on me in the mid 80s. He was the most caring, and overall skilled surgeons I have ever had. His talents and techniques were far above any other surgeon of his time. I'm so glad that he was my doctor!

Sorry to hear the news. Dr. Ma replaced my 2 hips about 30+ years ago and they are still holding up. RIP

Saw "Uncle Gabe" at Albert "Bozo" Chun's celebration of life in 2019. He still remembered me from QMC some 35 years later! Rest in Love and eternal peace...prayers to the entire Ma family.

He was a great story teller ! I enjoyed all his tales that he would share with us fellow surgeons in the doctors lounge . He claimed to be the only resident that never got cut by the late Dr Strode....RIP Gabe ,
