Gary Hasegawa Obituary

GARY MASAO HOSS HASEGAWA 78, of Honolulu, passed away on December 19, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He will always be remembered for his caring and generous ways and his sense of humor. Gary was a proud veteran, serving in the army during the Vietnam war. He worked many years as a Printing Assistant Director for Foodland, and a printer at Hawaii Lithographics and Valenti Print Group. He is survived by his wife, Claire, Children Gina (Masamoto) and Troy (Jelyn), grandchildren, Luke, Jeni and Pepperlyn, sisters Jeanette Oshiro and Amy Kawabata. Service will be held on Sunday, January 12th, 5pm at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, Visitation begins at 4pm. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC

Uncle Gary was the most easy going and funny of the family.
As kids he and auntie Claire would take us kids to the zoo, parks, beach, and movies. Happy memories always.
