Doing a Doo Friday in the OR shaped a work ethic with a sense of humor unmatched. He was a great colleague and friend in surgery, at the tennis club or any dining table. I treasure my memories of Gene's gatherings and send aloha to his ohana.

Michelle and Ohana, May the Holy Spirit Comfort you and your ohana during this period of grief. There are no words to express the loss of such a great man. He as left a beautiful legacy, an eternal love. May his love continue to live through you and every soul he touched. In Jesus name, Amen. The Choi Ohana

Dr Doo was always cheerful and up beat! He performed PE surgery on my son when he was just 3 years old! At that time the youngest children were 5 years old before having the surgery. With Dr Doo´s assurances and kindness, he did it in less than 20 minutes and my son never had a problem since then.
We thank you Dr Doo! And appreciate you and will miss you

Remembering Dr. Gene as the doctor who would sing in the hallways of his offices, a vibrant and generous gentleman with a sense of humor. He must have been a wonderful husband and dad, judging by the joy in the eyes seen in his amazing wife and good children. He was a glow and a gleam in this world that could use more like him!

Dr. Door took care of my family for many years. His kindness and humor made it so much less scary to go to "the doctor". Blessed to have known him.
